Today, the Silk Road is rathen a tourist road than a trade road. From Xian to Kashgar, the Silk Road connects nearly 50 cities and towns. Some of them has already existed more than one thousand years. Some of them are featured in spectacular landscape. Following is a list of popular tourist destinations along the Silk Road.

Luoyang, located in the west of Henan province in central China, is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, and is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. During East Han Dynasty, Luoyang was the starting hub of Silk Road in China. Moreover, Luoyang is a charming city with 21 state-level cultural and historical heritage sites, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Longmen Grottoes , first Buddhist temple - White Horse Temple and the world-famous Shaolin Temple for Kungfu experience. The annual Peony Festival held here adds even more fame to the city.

Are you tired of traveling to common cities, architectures and nature sightseeing? If yes, Dunhuang is the best choice for you to experience something different. Dunhuang is a small city along the Silk Road, connecting central & eastern area of China with Western Region. The ancient grottoes, exquisite mural paintings and statues of Buddha make Dunhuang the Oriental Buddha Park. Many historical sites survive from the days of thousands years, such as Mogao Grottoes, Yumenguan Pass, Yangguan Pass, Ruin of Great Wall, etc. Besides, the magnificent desert and Gobi views attract millions of people to visit every year.

Silk Road , also called Silk Route , ancient trade route, linking China with the West, that carried goods and ideas between the two great civilizations of Rome and China. Silk went westward, and wools, gold, and silver went east. China also received Nestorian Christianity and Buddhism (from India) via the Silk Road.

The trade route from China to Asia Minor and India, known as the Silk Road, had been in existence for 1,400 years at the time of Marco Polo’s travels ( c. ad 1270–90). It came into partial existence about 300 bc , when it was…

Originating at Xi’an (Sian), the 4,000-mile (6,400-km) road, actually a caravan tract, followed the Great Wall of China to the northwest, bypassed the Takla Makan Desert , climbed the Pamirs (mountains), crossed Afghanistan , and went on to the Levant ; from there the merchandise was shipped across the Mediterranean Sea . Few persons traveled the entire route, and goods were handled in a staggered progression by middlemen.

Hi. I am very tech- stupid. This is the first. Time I. Want a silk road membership. I litteraly just learned how to text a few months ago. Anyway I live out in Amish country my town is so small it isn’t even called a town it is a village. The only way I am able to use the internet is at the library which is only open 3 days a week or from this phone which I’m not real sure how to go where there is WiFi. I really want to get on your site. I was a huge supporter of R.O.P.s if you know what they were. Any guidance for the tech challenged? No internet at home. Thank you.

Silk road
I suffer from m.s. and most pain doctors in my state are pussies I cannot get a script from anyone.I use weed but sometimes it does not cut it. I have heard of a synthetic opioid called Pink but cannot find out how to order this.Is there any way you can help or advise me? I will be eternally grateful for anyhelp that you can give to me. Thank you so much. Cheryl Turner

I apologise if this seems like a silly question, I have an iMac and have had issues using certain programs and was wondering, does the VPN and TOR only work with Windows or will Macs be ok to use also? I previously used TOR only with a Windows laptop during Silk Road 1.0, and eventually had police interest in my activities, so am only interested in browsing this time so keen to get on and have a look.
